Cookies & Technologies Policy

This page describes technologies used to deliver MTRC Journal. Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a browser. Scripts run website functionality; network requests and beacons can send information without storing a cookie. These technologies are not interchangeable.

Necessary website functions

The site uses scripts for navigation, reading tools and other interactive features. Where authentication is used, session technologies support secure access. Hosting services may also process request information for delivery and security. These functions are separate from readership analytics.

Newsletter and embedded services

The newsletter form is provided by Beehiiv and loads as it approaches the viewport. Its scripts and embedded content contact Beehiiv and supporting services to display the form and protect it against abuse. Those services may use cookies or other technologies under their own policies.

See Beehiiv’s privacy policy. Browser restrictions on third-party content or storage may affect the form. Loading a form is not the same as subscribing.

Website analytics

MTRC Journal uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and website performance. Metrics may include page views, traffic sources, device and browser information, and Core Web Vitals such as loading speed, responsiveness and visual stability.

The standard analytics beacon used here is a script, not an analytics cookie. It does not rely on cookies or localStorage identifiers and is not used for advertising or cross-site behavioral profiling. We do not add user IDs, email addresses or search terms to analytics.

Cloudflare acts as a service and infrastructure provider. Refer to Cloudflare’s privacy information for its processing practices. This analytics setup is separate from necessary site technologies and the embedded newsletter services described above.

Your choices

Your browser settings let you manage cookies and restrict scripts or third-party content. Some features may not work with those restrictions. For information about newsletter data and website service data, read our Privacy Policy.
